Home for the Hickories

Mission Hill Green has approximately 50 Shagbark Hickory one-year old seedlings that are potted in 2-3 gallon containers. They are in need of good homes. They will need space, at least a 15’ radius and rich soil. They can tolerate shade. Sun can be tough on them especially if the soil isn’t moist. Not good with salt. Mission Hill sites get first consideration. Then Jamaica Plain and outward. Trees will be available in the coming spring of 2015 or late November of this year.
